Easy scheduling of appointments

Allow customers to schedule their own appointments through your website by posting a link. Scheduling appointments can, if desired, be based on availability. This prevents duplicate appointments. Once an appointment is scheduled, it automatically becomes a work order and planning in Simple-Simon. Moreover, you can also easily find the appointment in your Microsoft Bookings calendar. The employee to whom the appointment is scheduled will see the work order appear directly in his or her schedule. From the app, field employees can then not only work on the work order, but also easily register travel and work hours. Also register consumed items, take photos, complete checklists and ask for a customer signature.

Benefits when you integrate Simon with MS Bookings

Create a user schedule in Simple-Simon, which is then synchronized to Bookings;
Not only available employee times, but also overall company closings are synchronized between Simple-Simon and Microsoft Bookings. This allows appointments to be scheduled only at available times;
Easily place an MS Bookings link on your website. You can embed this link in a “make appointment” button;
The customer can enter his or her name, address and a description of the work to be performed when making the appointment. These details are then automatically displayed on the work order in Simon;
While scheduling an appointment, Bookings shows your client available time slots. From these available times, your client can choose a suitable moment. The time slots are based on employee availability;
In your MS Bookings environment, you can create different services. Here you can assign some employees to certain services, or make every employee available for the relevant service. As soon as a customer makes an appointment, it is always scheduled with an employee with the right skills;
The created appointment immediately becomes a work order and schedule in your Simon environment. In addition, the appointment also appears directly in your Microsoft Bookings calendar with the employee in question.

Activate the connection yourself in your Simon environment

From your Simon office environment, you can easily create the integration between Simple-Simon and Microsoft Bookings yourself. To make the integration*, go through the following steps:

1. Create a free Simon trial account, or log in with your existing Simon account;
2. In the office module, go to “integrations” in the left menu and then “activate integration.”
3. In the list of accounting software, then select Microsoft Bookings. Then click on “deploy” and then the green “start activating” button;
4. In the screen that follows, follow the 3 steps to complete the integration:
   • Through Simon, you connect by logging into Microsoft Bookings;
   • Then you use settings to set the pairing to your preferences;
   • Synchronization starts in the background and integration is complete.

*The first year you can use the integration for free. From the second year the costs are £22 per month, which will be invoiced annually in advance.
