What information does Simon retrieve from Sage?

Get your quotes or estimates from Sage and turn them into work orders!

Sage is installed on your local environment. The implementation takes place together with you or your Sage implementation partner. Simon installs the software that reads the master data from the Sage environment and sends it to your Simon environment. Changes in Sage are sent directly to Simon. So you manage your master data in your familiar Sage environment.

The connection to Sage is set up according to your wishes.

In consultation, products, customers and services can be transferred. If desired, quotes or estimates with a specific status, including order lines, can also be transferred to Simon (in Simon this becomes a work order with the material to be used already on it). Setting up and managing the integration is done from within your Simon office program.

What information does Simon send back to Sage?

Send your work order back to Sage as draft invoice!

You schedule a work order in Simon and it is then processed in the field with the Simon app. When the work order is reported ready by your mobile colleague, you can check everything again in Simon’s office program.
As a final step, you archive the work order in Simon. Next, the registered hours, items, work order PDF and photos/checklists are written back are written back into local result tables. The results of the table is determined in consultation with you and your Sage implementation partner.

Your implementation partner takes care of the further processing in Sage where for example a sales order or a concept invoice can be created. Because the implementation partner is well aware of the working of your Sage environment, this ensures an efficient way of working.

Maintenance costs of integration

The first year you can use the Simple-Simon and Sage Business Accounting integration for free. After the first year, the maintenance costs are $43 per month. However, to keep administrative costs low, these are billed annually in advance. These costs are necessary to keep the integration up to date.
