The Simple-Simon team is busy developing an entirely new and contemporary version of our software. Through this blog, we would like to inform you about the latest improvements and additions to Simon’s planning board. Together with a UI specialist, we designed the updated plan board. As a result, the colors and designs fit seamlessly with the Simple-Simon brand identity. All icons were designed exclusively for Simon and are applied consistently.

Instant and efficient planning in real time

Key features of Simon’s new planning board:
✅ Thanks to the clear overview provided by the planning board, you can easily create new appointments and fill empty spaces in the schedule. This ensures a smooth handling of scheduling appointments;
✅ With the appointment confirmation functionality, you can see at a glance whether an appointment has been confirmed or rejected, or if your customer has yet to respond. Confirmed appointments are indicated by colors (green and red), while appointments yet to be confirmed are indicated by an icon (question mark);
✅ Simply click the “Choose Work Order” button and drag the work order to the desired employee and time in the planning board. This makes scheduling work orders not only easier, but also significantly faster.

Appointment confirmation new schedule

Give your customers the ability to confirm or decline appointments, helping you avoid standing in front of a closed door! This can be done via both SMS and e-mail, with SMS being an effective way to communicate. In the scheduling board, you can immediately see whether an appointment has been confirmed, rejected or not yet read. A confirmed appointment turns darker green, while a question mark appears for an appointment that has yet to be confirmed. When rejected by the client, the appointment is highlighted in red.
